Finally, four weeks after the death of the legendary Alexander McQueen, the last collection that he was working on at that time has been unveiled. McQueen’s team completed his collection for the first time, and everything was amazing. The evidence was right in front of everyone, fashion itself had lost someone truly great.
Even thought this is the last collection by McQueen himself this is by no means the last collection to bear his name. “We believe in the future of the brand,” Polet told reporters after he announced that the label would continue. So far it is not known who will replace McQueen, but there is no one who truly can.
To the lucky few who got to see this collection be presented, a note was passed out that said “each piece is unique, as was he.”
